Antique Originally, Antique meant something made in an early period and valuable. Antique pieces usually have some sort of patina on them, which was formed over the years. This patina may highlight details on a sculptural piece in an interesting way, making it a desirable effect. To antique a new item, artificial patinas are applied. For polymer clay, such patinas may be formed using acrylic paints.		Look inside!
